Natural News Tracker: Keeping guns and collecting rainwater may be a crime in U.S., but GMO poisoning is not

rainwater use

The controversy over gun control has been raging for quite some time now. U.S. authorities want to confiscate all sorts of firearms that are in the hands of the civilians. Natural News reports that Senator Dianne Feinstein has proposed a nationwide campaign where all gun owners will be forced to register the serial number of their guns and even their finger prints. Many are saying that it will provide the government with the much needed list of gun owners whose homes and offices will be raided in search of firearms. Thus, the government is trying to criminalize all gun owners.

The ridiculous actions of U.S. authorities have been taken to a new level in the western states where a ban has been placed on rainwater collection. People have been using rainwater since the dawn of civilization to satisfy various needs and no law is required to ascertain their right over rainwater. But many western states have simply put a ban on the collection of rainwater. Mark Miller who runs a Toyota dealership in Salt Lake City, Utah faced the wrath of government bodies after he started collecting rainwater for washing cars. Though the local authorities have settled the matter with Mark, the ban on rainwater collection indicates  how even the basic freedoms are constantly being shackled in the U.S.

GMO poisoning does not; however, draw the attention of government bodies. Biotech giants continue to push their genetically engineered products into the market. Natural News has called for a lifetime boycott of companies like Monsanto, Bayer, BASF, DuPont, Dow and Syngenta. The products of these companies are laden with genetically modified substances and harmful chemicals that are giving rise to deadly diseases. They are also investing millions to prevent the GMO labeling program that would help people know about the real nature of GMO foods.
